The formation of Greathouse Construction began long before the company was founded. Brothers, Mikel and Harry Greathouse grew up swinging hammers, framing houses, and learning the satisfaction of a job well done. What began as a way to keep two little boys out of trouble developed into a life-long passion for excellence and a company: Greathouse Construction, Inc.
A design/build company located in Missoula, Montana, Greathouse Construction was born of our desire to create quality custom homes that reflect the personality and values of the individual customer. Mikel and Harry personally attend to the construction, while Mikel's wife, Kathy, fills the dual roles of  home designer and office manager. Drawing on a combined sixty years of experience in construction, Mikel and Harry administer each project with the skill of master carpenters and the knowledge of businessmen. From the pouring of the foundation to the finishing touches, you can depend on Mikel and Harry to insure the job is done to the highest standards of quality and within budget and time constraints. Kathy is continually inspired by look of delight on a customer’s face once they have seen their wishes take shape in functional, livable design. The team at Greathouse Construction loves that we are building more than houses -- we are building homes for people who know that quality matters.
